Delete Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your Music Memory account and all associated data, follow the instructions below.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Music Memory app and navigate to Settings via the tab bar at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section and tap Delete Account.
  3. You will be prompted to confirm your password. Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion in 14 days.

What happens after you request deletion?

Once deletion is scheduled, the following applies during the 14-day grace period:

  • Your profile will be hidden from other users
  • All of your public memories will be hidden from the community
  • You can cancel the deletion at any time by simply signing back in to your account

After the 14-day grace period, your account and all associated data — including journal entries, media files, and profile information — will be permanently and irreversibly deleted. This action cannot be undone.
